The biggest advantage of an IBC System installation is that the IBC can be washed and dried without, any downtime at the production level. Depending on what types of powders are stored in the IBC, we at ISL can design an appropriate Washing and Drying System (application specific).

Theory of Operation
Depending on your requirement IBC Washing/Drying System can include water heater, water pressurised system, and dehumidifier to provide a comprehensive solution for your washing and drying needs.
Generally, the IBC Washing/Drying Systemwill comprise of these components:

- Wash hopper assembly c/w: hopper, valve lift/spray tube, 1⁄2” BSP IN connection, 1” BSP extract connection, locator frame
- Materials – Fabricated metal contact parts in 316 stainless steel, 2B mill finish. Fabricated metal non-contact parts in 304 stainless steel, 2B mill finish. Metal product contact welds ground flat and smooth to 0.5Ra. External welds as laid and cleaned.
- Elastomers in natural food quality latex
- Dummy lid, self rotating spray ball/pipe, lid clamp.
- Materials –316 stainless steel, 2B mill finish. Elastomers in natural food quality latex.
- Dummy bin with self rotating spray ball/pipe, lid clamp.
- Materials – Fabricated metal contact parts in 316 stainless steel, 2B mill finish. Fabricated metal non-contact parts in 304 stainless steel, 2B mill finish. Metal product contact welds ground flat and smooth to 0.5Ra. External welds as laid and cleaned.
- Elastomers in natural food quality latex.
